Join the members of Queensland Consilience for their March gathering – open to all. Includes morning tea. This event is associated with Maps & Traces solo exhibition by Bronwyn Davies and supported by Scenic Rim Regional Council.
Consilience Queensland is a new organisation that seeks to explore the intersection between art, science and nature. Our key objectives include an exploration and design for the more than human world, development of an Art, Science and Nature residency program, Yarning sessions regarding caring for country and Queensland Climate Change Theatre Action. This gathering includes networking, a forum and guest speakers with the focus on the development of an Art, Science and Nature residency program. Hosted by Andy Grodecki, President Queensland Consilience.
We are proud of our diverse communities within the region. We acknowledge the traditional owners of the many lands within the Scenic Rim - the Mununjali in the Centre, the Wangerriburra to the East, the Ugarapul to the West, and all those of the Yugambeh and Jagera language groups. We pay respect to their Elders, past, present and emerging.
