If mountain climbing is your thing then this is the place to be, with the Scenic Rim’s mountains no more than an hour away. Koalas, Wallabies, Wedge Tailed Eagles, birds of all sorts, a babbling brook and still close to the great Shed Cafe. Art classes are possible 10 minutes away. Swimming at the Lower Portals is a 15 minute drive and a walk. A drink at the Rathdowney Pub or a 45 minute drive to the Scenic Rim Brewery. Boonah and it’s great cafes, is only a 40 minutes drive. This area is fabulous for checking out the scenery and it’s not far to the Lions Road. Ideal for family groups.
