Furari Flores

Overview

Exhibition on display from 3 May to 19 July 2025.

Furari Flores (Stealing Flowers)
is a multisensory arts exhibition by Cara-Ann Simpson exploring the wonder of plants.

It incorporates sight, smell, hearing, and tactility, creating an immersive, sensory experience. Furari Flores explores the themes of environmental art, data visualisation, technology, geometry and meditation. Enter a world of botanical magic and join Cara-Ann Simpson on a journey of deep listening, earth admiration and plant love.

Furari Flores grew out of Cara-Ann’s experience with extreme illness and a life-changing diagnosis. The Latin title translates to ‘stealing flowers’, which is a literal and metaphorical interpretation of the project and her story.
